My Calgary's Best and Worst List

Being a Calgary resident for a few years now, I have developed my own list of the best and worst of Calgary. Here are some of the best:

The Best Experience!

Restaurants
Italian: Da Michelangelo - Best pasta Putanesca in town. I like it without anchovies, but this is a matter of taste.
South Side Diner: Galaxie Diner - Good ingredients, simple food, good service, huge portions - best omelette in town. How can you go wrong?
North Side Diner: Diner Deluxe - Retro-style diner fare - the menu changes with the seasons
Best Chateaubriand: Westin Hotel Owl's Nest, baked in a mountain of salt: Hmmmmmmm.
Most impressive Sunday Brunch: Fairmont's Banff Springs Hotel - Best buffet on dry land - expensive but worth every penny.
French: Fleur de Sel: A traditional hole-in-the-wall French brasserie with a real French guy doing the cooking.
Best Desert: Eau Claire Joey Tomatoes - Freshly baked open-faced apple pie topped with a generous scoop (or two) of maple pecan ice - simple never tasted so good!

Travel Agent : Leah at Holidays Plus on Sirocco Drive SW: This person does travel as well as advise. She does not recommend what she does not know.
